The Sands Motel - Montauk Dress - ASOS, Bag - Nine West, Sandals - Sam Edelman, Belt - borrowed |
I've always loved the beach - and luckily, living in Brooklyn, we aren't too far from some pretty good ones. This past weekend we went to Montauk, at The End of Long Island for two nights.
It wasn't the first time I've been there, and I hope to go back every summer.
be sure to bring a cooler and beach chairs - this isn't some cushy resort destination. this is real deal beach town USA.
If you're heading out, I have some suggestions ..
Dinner: South Edison (date/small group w good bar), Harvest on Fort Pond (family style, go at sunset, make a res 1 week out), Ruschmeyer's (good food and good late night scene), Surf Lodge (live music, good food, busy day parties),
Also: Red Hook Lobster Pound, Bird on a Roof, Anthony's Pancake House, The Hideaway
